Ekilina is a middle-aged woman who came with a mass on her breast that was diagnosed as a simple lipoma after a series of tests. Ekilina’s blood pressure, however, was too high for her to undergo surgery, and so she was prescribed medication. While the first prescription didn’t work, Ekilina has received a second medication and we are waiting to see the necessary change in her blood pressure. Once her blood pressure is at a safe level, she will be scheduled for surgery.
